Bio-Magnesium 60 Tablets

The average human body contains just one ounce of magnesium, but this small amount is vital to a number of important bodily functions. Many people do not have adequate stores of magnesium, often because they rely heavily on processed food, which contains very little of this mineral. The mechanisms of how magnesium works are complex and varied depending on what it is being used for. However, it plays a vital part in over 600 biochemical pathways in the body. Research has indicated that Magnesium is beneficial for the prevention of heart disease. The mineral appears to lower blood pressure and has been found to aid recovery after a heart attack by inhibiting blood clots, widening arteries, and normalizing dangerous arrhythmias. Magnesium has been shown to make tetracycline antibiotics less effective. Individuals who are taking these should consult their doctor.
